PROJECT IN GLASS MIRROR & MULTIMEDIA
MIRROR IN THE MIRROR
2012-2014
Is a video performance-installation of a glass cube of mirrors in a V-shape. On the top there is a projector that emits the image of a video dance. The projection is projected on the floor and is repeated in a loop. Only when the viewer enters to look in the mirrors does the projection stop, leaving the viewer reflected multiple times in the mirrors. The viewer is alone, but when he or she leaves the installation the projection is projected again.
The piece was installed above a table in the yellow room of Sayner Hütte in Bendorf Sayn, Germany in 2014. News story published in the Mitterhein-Museum, Rhein Zeitung in Germany and in the New Glass Review digital submissions, NGR 34, 2012 at the Corning Museum of Glass in U.S.A.
Piece acquired by a private collector.
